Triumphant set at this year’s Download Festival
Supporting ZZ Top at Wembley Arena – June 24th
The sensational return of UK rock legends Thunder continues with the release of their new single ‘Black Water’, accompanied by a video that showcases the band at their very best, both live and in the studio.
Having stormed the UK charts in February with their Top 10 album ‘Wonder Days’, performed live on BBC Radio 2 and completed a headline tour of arenas around the country, the London five-piece have just delivered an exceptional set at this year’s Download Festival, widely regarded as one of the biggest highlights of the entire weekend, and now look forward to a support slot at Wembley Arena with the legendaryZZ Top.
‘Black Water’ is another shining example of Thunder at their best with vocalist Danny Bowes showing his bluesy and soulful side and guitarist Luke Morley’s sharp stabs and neat licks accompanying a solid and straight up rhythm section. It also sees Ben Matthews’ shift from guitar to piano.
Thunder are unstoppable as they continue to stake their claim as one of the UK’s biggest and most important rock bands.
